I revisited my final #febrajam entry, now I like it way more, it is now a little longer, more interesting, I added some more melodies and changed some sounds.
I think now it's the most compositionally complex and the longest automated track I've done in #orca. It can look (and sound) much cleaner - there is a lot of ways to optimize it, but it is a work for another day.
Done with #sunvox of course.
@vacuumbeef so good, it's a change for your darker stuff. I love the spacesynth, it'll be the perfect ambience to work this morning
@neauoire It's sooo messy, half of the modules are probably unnecessary, no wonder the mix is "a little" muddy haha
@vacuumbeef you wouldn't be able to tell ;)
@vacuumbeef Love this. These huge complex Orca performances remind me of kinetic sculpture.
@equinox_deschanel
Orca is definitely a very nice visuals by itself
@vacuumbeef this is so great!
Did you think to make a break down video of one of your tracks?
i think you use very interesting techniques that could help other to enter better "in the mood" of making music with orca and make understand the pontential! :)
If you are interested im interested for sure to learn more about it eheh
@luckraken Oh you know to be honest I don't think I do something really special, I'm even a bit embarrassed that I use too much T's.
There are some things I have not seen anyone do though, like the whole automation thing and some tricks for delayed start of "blocks" in sync with everything else that I did before.
So yeah maybe you are right, maybe not a break down of a track, but just short videos with examples. But maybe with a track it is more interesting.
@luckraken Actually, when using orca with puredata this is where really crazy things are possible, so I think I do have what to show.
With sunvox you are limited to only 16 midi channels sadly.
@luckraken hey! I was stupid actually, we have no limits in sunvox with orca, I found an obvious way to do some crazy stuff. I will post an example today.
