I know it's a game from 2016, but I never stop being amazed at #SteamDeck running DOOM on Ultra quality at a rock solid 60fps.
Now I'm wondering what it looks like on the OLED Steam Deck at 90FPS.
oh no...
And now I know! This is DOOM 2016 on Ultra preset. One is running on Steam Deck LCD, one on Steam Deck OLED. Both have their screen brightness at max.
The OLED has a higher framerate, a ridiculously better and brighter screen, and less power consumption.
I'm in love
@killyourfm Does that game support HDR?
@TeamLinux01 I don't believe so...but DOOM Eternal does! I can't wait to see that.
@killyourfm In fairness to the LCD, the frame limiter is on by default and is keeping it at a locked 60—if you unlocked it, it would probably also be at 72 fps in that area.
That said, it would only make the battery life worse, so the OLED still wins!
