Oregon Coast Trail @killyourfm@layer8.spaceAchievement unlocked yesterday: First 20-mile (32km) ride... EVER! Got to feast my eyes on beautiful orchards and farmland, Bear Creek, and Black Rascal creek.
This ride felt like tangible proof that my decision to ditch alcohol and eat healthier (more cooking from scratch, less ultra processed foods) is paying off.
Life is good.

I've gotten to the point where I don't feel guilty when I occasionally go for processed food. I can make it up every other day with a healthy diet.
@nfilipes Thanks for the encouragement! And yea, we have to allow ourselves the occasional guilty pleasure.
Speaking of energy, YES. The last few years I had been taking afternoon naps probably 3 or 4 times per week. Now I’m bursting with energy all day, even if I get a bit less sleep than usual. I love it!
