i bought my Nintendo Switch November 2020, when there was a new "Lockdown" because of the Covid pandemic.
And I'm still in love with it.
But I guess I will not buy the Switch 2.
Beside of Zelda games, the new Mario Kart and the GameCube pass, I will not really need it.

Eigentlich wollte ich noch bis zum 08.04. warten und mir die #Nintendo #Switch2 über den MyNintendo Store nach Hause bestellen.

Bin jetzt aber doch schwach geworden und hab mir die neue Konsole und die Cartridge von #MarioKartWorld bei #MediaMarkt zur Abholung am 05.06. vorbestellt.

Switch 2 reactions are 100% feral on youtube holy shit. People are more angry about a $450 console that, frankly, could not possibly cost less than $400 and is probably already pushing it pre-tarrifs, than they are about literal fascism.

And when fascism makes them raise the price, they'll still be more mad at Nintendo than the fascism. Sigh.

My personal beef is $90 digital games? fuck off. Not that I buy anything digital that I can get physical.

Also die #Switch2 sorgt ja für ordentlich Diskussionen. Ich persönlich rechne das relativ einfach: Der Preis der Konsole liegt bei rund 460€. Die Switch habe ich seit Release und das sind 8 Jahre. Und kaputt ist die noch lange nicht. Wenn ich den Preis von 399€ ansetze, bin ich jährlich bei knapp 50€. Und das für ne Konsole. Das ist vollkommen okay. Auch der höhere Preis der Konsole ist für mich okay, da sich das über die Jahre relativiert. Was ich erstmal schwierig finde, ist der Preis der Spiele. Allerdings ist da auch die Frage: Wie ist die Qualität und wieviel habe ich davon? Und das Videospiele teurer werden, ist leider auch so. Ob das gerechtfertigt ist? Keine Ahnung. Bin kein Entwickler.

Das verrückte ist ja, dass die Switch sogar im Rest der Welt teurer werden könnte, wenn ein Bauteil in die USA eingeführt und weiterverabteitet wird und in der #Switch2 landet.

Perhaps, according to #Nintendo support, the #Switch2 Enhanced Editions were false advertising during the Direct. 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 (in support) confirmed it's just Switch 1 cards with a code for the upgrade. Still, remains to be seen if that's the case.

Essentially you won't share or buy used copy of the Switch 2 versions, as that's just a code.

Einige physische Spieleversionen der Switch 2 werden gar nicht die Spieldaten enthalten, sondern nur eine "Game Key Card". Urgs. Ich bin heute schon maximal angefressen, wenn ich aus Versehen eine dieser Leerhüllen mit Downloadcode erwische.

Und da Nintendo wenig Hemmungen hat, seine älteren Shopserver zeitnah abzuschalten, kaufe ich dort so schon nahezu nichts digital.
