Wondering if this is unique to my friend group or if it was a larger phenomenon of CD trading back in the day. My friend group all had a burned copy of Sublime's 1996 self-titled album, but at the end of the CD there were a couple of other tracks including Rammstein's Du Hast. #CDs

Let's talk albums. 10 song or 40 minutes for the length of an #album (I’d stretch to 44, need to be able to fit 2 albums on a 90 min #cassette ). Seems to me the #LP allows for the maximum amount of music to be digested. Leave them wanting more. #FistfulOfDavesRulesForMusic #CDs #EditYourself

I have some music CDs still in their original packaging, where I also have the same album already as a digital download (e.g. from Bandcamp). I don't need to open the CD case to listen on my computer, but obviously I'd need to open it to listen on one of my CD players (which I use often to avoid the internet of distraction).

Should I open the CD cases?
