"The newest handheld in the Legion Go family addresses two of my biggest complaints about its Windows-powered sibling: price, and the presence of Windows 11, which contributes to a clunky and frustrating user experience."
I'm baffled that this quietly went up for pre-order yesterday with zero communication or announcement from Lenovo (or Valve). THIS is not the one that should get sent out to die. The SteamOS version needs to succeed!
To be fair, Lenovo initially announced the SteamOS version of the Legion Go with some fanfare and had that fairly high budget commercial for it. But both Lenovo PR and public channels have been pretty quiet about it since then.
Let's hope that they make some noise when it actually launches in May.
@killyourfm hardware vendors like to help Microsoft at the expense of Linux. A tale retold many times.
@killyourfm I think some folks with way more cash than either of us disagree with you. This sounds very familiar from the netbook era.

The HP Dev One was going to be an awesome laptop model featuring PopOS! It was discontinued despite demand for it. The marketing was weird and it wasn't available for enterprise account buyers either, only retail consumers.
@p4p4j0hn Yea, I remember that one! Always felt like that partnership had so much potential.
