Would anyone be interested in participating in a sort of retro gaming "book club" style group? Basically, picking a console era, voting on a game, then playing through it together and discussing it? (Emulation is fine, we don't all have real hardware)
It seems like a fun idea. I want to call it "The Retro Retreat."
Wide open to ideas to bring it from conception to reality.
@killyourfm will there be DOS and other old PC games? :D
@aks I'm honestly not sure! I have a personal interest in exploring many that I never got to check out as a kid.
@killyourfm well i have some old pc game ideas if needed :) very interested in this
@killyourfm also i run a small matrix community so if you need any help with it let me know
@aks Thank you for the offer! I will probably take you up on that. The thing I'm pondering right now is how to use any tools Matrix has to filter spoilers. (e.g. if people in the room that's devoted to monthly playthrough chat want to discuss their ongoing progress, but don't want to see spoilers from people further ahead).
Does that make sense?
@killyourfm so far i dont know any spoiler tools. Some clients support the ||spoiler||
markdown but thats it
@aks Tagging in @thibaultamartin ! Do you happen to know of any "spoiler warning" tools that might work for something like this?
