@killyourfm what is it with the different frequencies on the chip?
@nfilipes it looks like Geekbench is reporting base frequency on Windows and max frequency on Linux/Arch?
Both are boosting as expected up to 5ghz. Both are on identical performance profiles….
@killyourfm could Asus have optimized it for windows though the motherboard?
Oregon Coast Trail @killyourfm@layer8.space@nfilipes hmm, I don’t know but it’s a good hunch. This makes me wonder how Bazzite would perform since I believe that distro has optimizations for Asus laptops.
@killyourfm and we've seen how quick the bazzite team was to update the Ally X. So maybe there's a better chance there.
