My tomato plants 3 weeks ago versus today.
Nature continues to blow my mind.
Also: 10 days ago, my oldest sunflower was 5’4” (162.6cm). Now it’s 6’8” (203cm)!

@killyourfm it’s so much fun to see it all grow.
@thed34n I wake up and there’s something new or different every single day — and frequently *throughout* the day!
@killyourfm that's going to be a lot of tomatoes!
@dm As the gardening rookie I am, I… might have miscalculated how many tomato plants I’d need. (And I gave 5 of them away!)
I was just about to tell @justforfun that fortunately, I’m also growing garlic and basil…
@killyourfm @justforfun That's awesome. I did my first garden last summer with moderate success. I read somewhere that each tomato plant makes approximately 10 pounds of tomatoes, and it was darn close last year. I just planted this year's this past weekend, we'll see how it does this time around.
@dm @justforfun Good luck in your garden this season! (10 pounds… wow … yes, I will be learning how to make all kinds of tomato sauces apparently)
@killyourfm @justforfun Thanks! I made my own compost last year which is being used this year now. Good luck with yours too! I hope your tomato sauces turn out great!
@killyourfm
Not sure what kind of tomatoes those are, I personally plant cherry tomatoes because the kids pack them for lunch, but that’s a lot of tomatoes, hope you have basil and garlic to make pasta sauce ;)
