We are approaching 200 contributing artists!
We have:
-more artists committed to contributing
-quite a pool of material that for format, length etc hasn't been included in the rotation.
there will always be the main wildly diverse drop in find a gem feed, always!
We have a few awesome patrons that are making the guts of this possible. If that continues we can look to make some things more robust and maybe gently grow. If we add a 1st themed side stream what are you keen for?
@radiofreefedi would that mean songs from that genre would be moved to that side channel and only there, or that they'd still appear in both? Selfishly speaking, I don't like edm, dubstep, techno etc, so having them in a channel of their own would make more time for music I prefer listening to on the main channel for instance Hopefully we'll get to a point where there's so many contributors and genres that there will be multiple side channels to choose from
@lminiero @radiofreefedi I'm just one guy (who isn't donating -- yet), but I wholeheartedly agree with Lorenzo.
I appreciate chillout, downtempo stuff, but I won't tune in if it's primarily more upbeat techno genres.
My dream, selfishly, is having sort of an indie rock/folk/metal station haha.
Also, it can't hurt to draw inspiration from Soma.FM -- they definitely have a tried-and-true model.
