“Or, you can buy a #SteamDeck, a #Linux game system that — believe it or not — works better than this Windows machine.”

@killyourfm I have a steam deck. So you recommend sticking with it? I mainly game on an external so I was looking at this to do 1080p with less loss.
@richservo hmmm. If money isn’t an obstacle and you mainly play docked? This will definitely give you 1080p native.
@killyourfm I'm also looking at it as a way to stop running my 850w desktop PC and dropping my 3090 into an eGPU enclosure for big screen gaming.
@killyourfm But when I read something like "I can count on one hand how many unobstructed gaming sessions I've had on it due to glitches and crashes" I think twice.
@richservo maybe we’ll get a Steam Deck Pro this year or next.
@killyourfm I hope so. If they update the Steam Deck I will order it without question. I preordered day one and have not regretted it for a second. I use it daily.
@killyourfm so based on this review it seems like it’s best to wait until steamos can be installed on it.
@richservo Possibly…but remember that the 6800U in this device is a workhorse and it’s not custom. We might see more batter life with SteamOs. But perhaps not substantially more.
@killyourfm I rarely play for more than an hour...so long battery life is never a concern of mine. But stability issues is. I LOVE STEAMOS....if I could run it on a better APU it would be pretty amazing.
@killyourfm @tuxdevices Or three Steamdecks…
