It only took 10 seconds with an @Xbox@twitter.com Series X to make me seriously contemplate quitting PC gaming.

This one's dedicated to my friend @DarthChillash@twitter.com.

A fitting footnote to this story:
Tonight I logged in to play @Halo@twitter.com Infinite on PC, but the game's Fracture event (which I've progressed in) doesn't even show up! (Yes, I updated the game).

@DarthChillash@twitter.com logged me in on his Xbox Series X, and it WAS on that version, sooo

@killyourfm From speed reading the article, sounds like your issue was trying to game on Windows 11 with a TV. I could see the Xbox being better suited for that.

Besides couch gaming, I can't see any other reason to use an Xbox over a PC. The fact you have to pay monthly to play online on Xbox puts a bad taste in my mouth.

Also, from looking at a bunch of gaming news sources, Windows 11 is not ready for gaming just yet. A bunch of little bugs are present.
