Without my glasses I thought that this was some weird dirt clump on the floor that I was about to sweep up, until I saw it moving (very slowly, I don't think it can fly right now). It's having a drink of sugar water from a jar lid and hopefully it'll perk up.

Update, it has finished drinking and it's just hanging out here. I think it might stay tonight. The larger carnivorous plants are not very active yet, but I closed the door to the room they are in, just in case.

It's waking up a lot more but too cold tonight to let it go outside. It's also too early for good flowers as most of mine are only budding and it's the carnivores ones anyway but I read they also like basil so I offered it one. The paper towel is a walkway so it doesn't fall in the gap between pots. The pot is too smooth to get back down to the floor though.

It got back down again from the basil pot but it was pretty difficult so I made a ramp with an stuffed Geeko as it should have a good texture for grip and a spare headphone ear cushion for stability for the next time.

Okay this is probably my last update tonight since it is late here but the bee ramp mostly works, though it needed some adjustments and now both the basil and the sugar water should be easier to reach. Good night little bee, I hope you make it.

Good news! The bee is fine and went on its way today. It followed me around last night so ended having to close all doors to the hallway. It still wasn't ready to fly yet so later I gently moved it to a cardboard box with the sugar water and brought it to the balcony for warming up in the sunshine. After a little while it started a flight check.

And went on its way. I think it ended up here, which has a lot of things bees seem to like. The bee was a very nice houseguest.
