I had a ridiculously detailed dream last night. When I woke up, I felt compelled to instantly start working on a crude game design document because I was so damn excited by the idea! Once I started writing, more exciting ideas started pouring out.
I am NOT a video game designer. I don't code. But I think this game idea has legs.
I've also learned to never ignore these ideas that originate in your dreams.
So I guess the big question is: NOW WHAT

Did you know there is a Mastodon instance over at https://mastodon.gamedev.place ?
I follow some game art there.
For example, @badgertracks recently shared some images.
Then @McFunkypants is participating in challenges which will also get together people from different areas.

https://gamedev.lgbt is similar in its rules albeit a bit more relaxed.
Again, gameart has made me notice @madame_etrange for example.
In terms of dev you can find @lampfairy there among others.
